@Valkyrie607: Spend time with the CC reactionaries @ a conference - and you want to go outside & burn things...
No doubting human activity has impacted this planet - but telling 2/3s of the earths population that their standards can't rise up to the rest as somehow access to electricity (and all the things it provides) should only be for us 'developed' nations... (and I'd can also go into ways that has been implemented poorly - and the nuclear industry licking their lips citing CC as the reason we should go there...) My current work is looking at environmental policy - but the heavyhandedness of the CC debate is really starting to get like religion... and we know how cockeyed that is.
/rant.
I really liked BM. Not the world's greatest thespian - but the girl had a corny charm. This guy - comes across as a very controlling nutbar. As for Mommy Dearest, WTF is she hoping to get out of this 3 ring circus?
He then went on to deny that Cherie is as thick as two paving blocks...
Almost comedy gold - if it wasn't for the FACT that decent people on all sides are dying for a f**king stupid, senseless war...
Considering alot of climate alarmists want us to turn back the clock to some sentimental 'golden' age, like, say 1542 - gee - how awkward are they going be now knowing that Osama shares their views...
Don't know what is worse - JD slipping off into the night - or - the insufferable babyboomers that bored me to death at work going on & on about Catcher. I f**king get it - he was a writer for the time, but seriously - GET OVER IT - Holden was the figment of a deeply bitter and sad man.
That being said - gotta hunt out my copy to read as a suitable eulogy (and enjoyed with a stiff whiskey...)
Hare Krishna, JD.
