" So four years ago, when the VMAs opened with the Like a Virgin homage starring Britney and Christina, with Madonna coming out and kissing both of them (and the camera cutting to Justin's reaction instead of Christina's kiss - which pissed her off for like years), I commented to my then-boyfriend, "Britney's career will be totally over within 5 years - there is no way in hell that bitch is the new Madonna." He disagreed and we ended up getting into this whole thing about it (clearly our relationship wasn't that stable if the fucking VMAs could cause a fight...I mean, really) -- yeah, I'm totally looking up his number now to call him and say, "See?"
