"Off to art jail for thee!" I agree, it's a damn shame, but this is the risk you take showing expensive artwork to the general public. The insurance company will slither in, they'll call this guy [www.newyorker.com] MoMa will proctor a competency exam for all future museum-goers, and someone will have a good story to tell about it.
personally, I don't find the work very attractive. Apparently this woman felt otherwise.
