I agree with you on Episodes 1-3, although I have to admit the tragedy of 3 did move me a bit. Still, I must remain loyal to 1-3 and think the exposition of 1 (plus the trash compactor scene) is the gold standard for introducing a new universe. I was SO ANGRY in the theater when Han Solo was frozen at the end of Empire and couldn't believe I had to wait however long to find out what happened to him.

Totally agree with Magnum/Mars statement. LOVE Veronica Mars. Wish I was a plucky high school girl detective. So behind the curve on this show, since its off the air of course, but it was so great and its my mission to introduce the world to it via Netflix. Season One just couldn't be beat. ;)
