I think this Dave guy is the dude that put "four wrong sized tires" on my Spyder. When two blew out after 2000 miles, I got the sob story that they didnt have the right size and had to shoehorn some other ones on. Went down the street and had four new tires put on by a tire dealer and guess what, they were the same size. the size that was recommended by the manufacturer and the size the Wally world used.
NEVER take your car to a wal mart for service. When you get stuck on the side of the road, you can think of how much you saved by buying ketchup, diapers, ammo and oil from the same person.
@LandofMinos. Sebastian Vettel cried like a little girl.: I know Aussies use the term "Mate" to signify a friend or colleague but in US English, "Mate" is your spouse. I know not all Aussies are gay but they do hang out with their all male "Mates" quite a bit.
Just an observation. Not trying to be offensive or off topic but that term has always bugged me. Don't even get me started on the slang for a cigarette in London....
@verspasian: That would seem like a good idea until an accident permanently attaches said phone in place of your teeth. I am not saying this is a bad idea, just that I can see Mythbusters testing to see if the phone would actually impale.
Remember, projectiles are bad. Pretty much always. Especially when shot at you with the velocity of an airbag deploying.
@admoseremic: Yopu can call me a troll but I gave a clear argument. I admit Apple makes nice products but I also think sketcher makes nice products. (Iwouldnt buy one that the laces fall off of and I think thats reasonable). Try to get me banned from a gadget website for calling a spade a spade. Get a life man.
@A.Jaswal: You have to admit some similarities. Creating a virus or a worm can be seen as art depending on the person who looks at it. Simple math equations like Einstein's are beautiful when seen by a physicist but are completely meaningless to most of us. Super complex math equations can be viruses, worms or simple phishing hacks that can be seen by one side as incredible all the while a total nuisance to everyone else. Michelangelo's David has been seen as pornographic but cant be confused as something that is not artistic.
Judging art isn't something I know. Security is something I know only enough to make myself dangerous (only to myself) but I can at least see them both as forms of media created by people to be displayed, used and elicit reactions. Art, is by definition, a reactive media. It only means something if people react to it. positively or negatively.
Now I am terrified to get banned again because of my apphole hatred. Can they add the autoban to appholes? There is just something about irrational gadget love that irritates me to no end. I retunred to Giz simply because I figured the articles would be less pro communism (read apple) since the iPhone 4 "incident". If not, I guess I am back to Engadget and Wired.
@Big-Tool: There is also a Lancaster, Ohio. A friend from 'Bama always pronounced it as Landcaster I couldn't figure out why until he said, lets go to the theeater.
@Deal Killer: I found it just recently on Netflix and it has some of the best comedy I have seen in years. Well worth it to check it out. Dont give up after three episodes like my wife did.
I cant believe they canned the show but rumor has it they are doing a movie. If you like this, check out Better Off Ted.

88 Nissan Pulsar. Spent more time in the shop than on the road. Blew through head gaskets faster than oil changes and blew through transmissions faster than that.
While still in Highschool, I bought one of these and traded my Toyota Trecel. The Pulsar went 2000 miles before the forst head gasket but the Trecel is most likely still running.
The Pulsar is the poorest excuse of an automobile I have even come across and pushed me to never again consider a Nissan product. I like the 350 Z and the Maxima but I could never again gamble that much on reliability,
This prime example of a 90 Pulsar show it at top speed. Mine was red but was in a very similar position for most of my ownership. If you dont agree, just think of the last time you saw a Pulsar on the road.
