I'll reply to your 'Williamsburg' message here. Aside from the fact that I was sick of hipsters before they even existed (don't ask me how this is possible, but I'm sure it is), I do think the Moe-Persona is a particularly bad take on hipsterdom. There are some very competent writers on this site, and probably a hundred commenters who would do just as good of a job posting. This is why I just don't see how writing of the kind that was in the condom post could be considered by anyone to be particularly good, intelligent, or, frankly, even funny.
