It wasn't that deep for me. I was bored halfway into the premiere and saw their (over)use of scare tactics as an attempt to reel viewers back in during a particularly slow (read "boring") moment. But, being stubborn and lazy, I stuck it out to the end. Unfortunately, too much was revealed and explained all too soon. The show played out more like a movie or maybe the beginning of a very short mini-series. I felt like a good chunk of the series' arc was played out during those 2 hours. If I planned to continue watching (which I do not), I can't really see myself being interested in anything else the writers had to come up with for much longer.
I agree. It looks like it took effort (and a little announcement/attention gathering) before the bed broke. Also, I'd like to point out that the other bed he sat on didn't break (the one with 3 other people). Sad. Can someone please get AMC back on the air? I need to know who was shot!!!
From the title alone, I thought this was going to be another article about some downtrodden, fallen-from-grace, C-list celeb. Oh, well. I guess certain things aren't exclusive to the (formerly) rich and (in)famous.
If these officers would put in as much effort and determination in staking out Frat Row on a Saturday night, UC Davis would have the safest campus in the world.
Kim Jong-Il's sons all went to school in Switzerland, so maybe Jong Nam felt like he needed to send his kid elsewhere to stay on the dl (being exiled and all)?
I watched the first few minutes and turned it off. Tossed the remote aside and walked out of the room. It was like watching someone get dental work done - painful and tedious. By the way, according to my channel guide, it re-aired earlier tonight, just in case anyone had any doubts.
Or, as the writers on "Married... with Children" once suggested: "The Making of Oprah" (although, I think she's doing that now), "Baking with Oprah," and the "Pre-Oprah Showprah."
he just lost a bunch of cool points by sounding like every other septuagenarian. "i don't use it because i don't have to" = "i don't use it because... what's the in-ter-net?"
omg! this is SOOO TRUUUE!!! ... seriously. it's true. for everyone. even the guy who drew those comics. probably especially the guy who drew those comics.
Actually, it has long been known that "V" is an allegory of Nazi Europe. The aliens coming in promising better times ahead (only to persecute human beings later); the resistance; and that peace organization that is starting to resemble the Hitler Youth. #lizardpeople
