True, he sucked. Jodi Kantor did an AMA not long after Woody about her book on the Obamas. It is definitely one of the more interesting interviews I've read. They reddit people even called her out for being awesome in comparison to Woody.

I'm so happy Glenn Close got an oscar nomination. I can't wait to see the movie (film?). They talked about it on CBS Sunday Morning and it looks amazing! I'm sure it's unfair, but I half want her to win because a) she's never won an oscar and b) Damages is the best show ever.
Actually, The Atlantic did a pretty cool piece over the summer on new camouflage technology.

That was really nice. I didn't agree with the singer, though, about it being a song relevant across cultures. Not that the song isn't, just that I don't think that's why the song conjures up so many feelings for people and has renewed relevance. It just reminds me of being young and excited about everything that was ahead of me, whether it be the night or my future.
I really enjoyed Katie Baker's (from Deadspin) The Confessions Of A Former Adolescent Puck Tease. [deadspin.com]

Just barely fitting into 2011. Longish read for Gawker Media. I cringed at my formerly teenage self as I read through and recognized parts of myself.

I really liked NPR's Intern Uprising: Music We Missed in 2011.

Burnt Sienna, aka "the leftover crayon".
Dude, The Fountainhead is, like, the best book ever. Ron Paul 2012!
How does it take 50 minutes of jogging to burn 250 calories? The treadmill at my gym, while I'm sure not totally accurate, shows I burn around 500 at 50 minutes.

Also, super squats help you to burn calories, even at rest. They really are magic!

But I love Carol of the Bells! I just hate those stupid Victoria Secrets ads that ruin it every year
No joke. My dad looks exactly like Harrison Ford, or rather, Harrison Ford looks exactly like my dad.
That's so sweet. I might steal that one if I ever have children.
4. Kelly Osbourne and Miley Cyrus?
Matt Saracen is marrying Nikki from Lost!
Mac Lethal actually has a few albums. I never really thought of him as an unknown dude. He's pretty good, even beyond his pancake-making skills!
I did not know that! I just googled the show and found this video of him visiting a nudist island. He gets naked and jumps in the ocean with a guy at the end of the clip. I like him so much more now.
Thank you! Maybe I'll start at the Halloween episode.
When did it start getting good. Like Parks & Rec, I watched the first episode and wasn't very impressed. It wasn't until someone told me to start watching P&R from the end of the second season that I finally got what everyone was talking about. When did Community start getting good?
It's ok! He was finally able to get a job as an architect.
