It's just trial by fire for the tourists hanging around Times Square.
I'm in NY this week and decided that the 1.8-2.3 miles (depending on route) from my hotel to the office is quite walkable, but even the natives seem to regard me as a bit insane. I did a 10 mile circuit on Sunday and that was pushing it; clearly I'm out of shape.
It's right there on the food pyramid/plate: grains.
My first flight early this morning was fully booked but the second, in the afternoon, was not even half full. Though I don't fly super-often, I haven't seen such a thing since the 90s. Everyone was busy with the pregame stuff I guess.
I'm leaving shortly to travel across the country to your fair city today. Though I didn't know of today's event when I booked, now that I know I still can't decide if this will be a good or bad thing. Will report back.
I don't know, I get more of a Johnny Cab vibe from him. But I'm a sucker for any and all Brazil references, so hearted.

There's supposed to be an image of good ol' Johnny here, but that didn't work for me.

I used both and had a hard time deciding for this post. Undernet just sounded more nerdy for those not in the know.
The real nerds never left Undernet.
"Just great. This is so frustrating, because I'm terrible at conflict. I hate it. And if I'd imagined this problem while falling asleep one night... I don't think I would have spoken up to you. Even in my fantasy life I just would have accepted it. That's who I am. But today I have to go. I have to. And when I tell people about this in the future, I know that - it'll be the time that I went. And I know that when I review this whole episode in my head... I'm not gonna know what I did or why I did it. I think they've done something with the real Grover. But it'll make a good story of my [late adolescent] life. You know, the time I chose to go to [Vassar]. I'll look back on it and I won't believe that I actually went, you know. I went away. So let me go. I have to. I need - Just put me on the plane. Let me go."
Beer is getting expensive too though. Is there a connection? Is beer-fed beef the new thing?
Did you use reply to all? If ever there was an appropriate time, that was it.
For your boss, this might be OK as a starter: [www.amazon.com] It's an overall review of a bunch of different religions. It includes, but doesn't focus on, Judaism and Christianity. In a way though, maybe that's better. It's not particularly in depth though, so there's not a lot about the different stories.
Mrs. Keya feels this way about our progeny but I'm...skeptical. Luckily for me our overall busyness leaves little time for such things.
They're all cults, some are just more culty than others.
It's been a while since I was on an Alaska flight, but it's good to know that this practice continues.
Well, no, it doesn't matter because you're right, it was quite awful. I rewatched The Crow recently and found it lacking, and now I'm afraid to rewatch Dark City.
I think that's how it ended.
Please fill out both the Youtube URL and comment text.
It's been a while since I had student loans, but IIRC you can't pay them with a credit card, much like a mortgage or a car payment. The payment has to be drawn from a regular bank account, right?
I guess I can only promote your comment by replying to it. #corrections.
