I'm in NY this week and decided that the 1.8-2.3 miles (depending on route) from my hotel to the office is quite walkable, but even the natives seem to regard me as a bit insane. I did a 10 mile circuit on Sunday and that was pushing it; clearly I'm out of shape.
My first flight early this morning was fully booked but the second, in the afternoon, was not even half full. Though I don't fly super-often, I haven't seen such a thing since the 90s. Everyone was busy with the pregame stuff I guess.
I'm leaving shortly to travel across the country to your fair city today. Though I didn't know of today's event when I booked, now that I know I still can't decide if this will be a good or bad thing. Will report back.
"Just great. This is so frustrating, because I'm terrible at conflict. I hate it. And if I'd imagined this problem while falling asleep one night... I don't think I would have spoken up to you. Even in my fantasy life I just would have accepted it. That's who I am. But today I have to go. I have to. And when I tell people about this in the future, I know that - it'll be the time that I went. And I know that when I review this whole episode in my head... I'm not gonna know what I did or why I did it. I think they've done something with the real Grover. But it'll make a good story of my [late adolescent] life. You know, the time I chose to go to [Vassar]. I'll look back on it and I won't believe that I actually went, you know. I went away. So let me go. I have to. I need - Just put me on the plane. Let me go."
For your boss, this might be OK as a starter: [www.amazon.com] It's an overall review of a bunch of different religions. It includes, but doesn't focus on, Judaism and Christianity. In a way though, maybe that's better. It's not particularly in depth though, so there's not a lot about the different stories.
Well, no, it doesn't matter because you're right, it was quite awful. I rewatched The Crow recently and found it lacking, and now I'm afraid to rewatch Dark City.
It's been a while since I had student loans, but IIRC you can't pay them with a credit card, much like a mortgage or a car payment. The payment has to be drawn from a regular bank account, right?
