Talk about resentment. All he's saying is that that is not a staggering sum in a place like Toronto in New York. If he was making $90,000 and lived in Bismarck, where housing is like a fifth of the cost, you wouldn't perceive him as a rich fuck, even though he could probably live more lavishly there on that amount of money. This is where the Occupy mentality is just juvenile.
My cat is not gigantic, but he is too big to take on board. His carrier has to have some space in it, and I think he would be better off in a large rigid carrier in the cargo hold than wedged in a soft one under the seat.
"mispriced"! I would say well-priced given they were recognizing how pathetic it is that you have to buy a tune just because the person just died. If they want to charge a premium for your desperation, good for them.
So, if you are a diabetic or have a heart condition you have to pay a deductible and copay for your meds but if you are a millionaire lady who lunches, your pills are free? (Or should I say, "free," because somebody is paying for them.)
You really should take at least one course to learn how basic science works. And then do some reading to find out just how well documented this "ridiculous" disorder is.
A lot of people are incapable of thinking scientifically. The Erin Brockovitch view of the world, with forces of evil pulling levers, is comforting to some people.
This is paranoia. Erin Brockovitch is a litigious nut job. How could anyone possibly think the a vaguely described "dump" from 1985 could suddenly cause very specific and pronounced symptoms in a select and limited group of girls? Presumably hundreds of girls have played on this field; why are just these girls affected? Unlike what you say, the number is not really "growing." The first thing any real scientist would do is go to the field and see if she/he felt any affects. I notice in one sentence you mention "reports" and "reported." As in "imagined."
I cannot believe that weeks later, Gawker is still writing like there is any explanation to entertain besides the psychological one, like there has really ever been a mystery here. The "environmental" explanation has never made any sense ; you have to be almost willfully dumb even to bring it up. At least we don't have that numskull from the other site describing these symptoms as a "sickness."
Do you think any women would not have gotten screenings because the budget went down by 0.075 percent? Heck, their budget probably deveiates month to month more than that.
