I definitely wasted money on that poop joke tweet (and another one), but I feel like it was worth it for the hilarious discovery that your real name is Malcolm. Not sorry.
How can anyone "win" an argument against someone who claims they "laughed" at the death of the Pope? Just because you weren't sorry or whatever, you can't expect not to be called out for saying something so vulgar and crass. You don't have to rape or kill people to be a bad person, but not doing those things doesn't automatically mean you're a good person either.
Oh, and having looked at your comment history, I think my accusation is well-justified.
No but you are apparently fucking disgusting and unrepentant to the point of gleeful about it. And I'm sure you're just as charming off the internet too, bless your heart.
So the logical, level-headed response was to laugh at their death?
Serious issues of sexual abuse in the Catholic Church aside, Pope John Paul II was also responsible for undertaking major steps in the Church to reconcile and apologise for its responsibility in the historical persecution of Jews and its 'silence' during the Holocaust. He apologised for the historical degradation of women by the Church, its role in the African slave trade, and for the Muslim victims of the Crusades.
Yeah the Church is a fucked-up institution, and as the Pope he was complicit in this, but shit is fucking complex, never mind when its grounded in 2000 years of patriarchal hierarchy. But to laugh at his fucking death?
Yeah, that kind of says more about you than it does about him...
How does it explain that? Speaking out in support of Planned Parenthood makes her infantile? Or her explanation on why her and Brand didn't sell the pictures of her wedding? I don't like her music either, but that doesn't justify snide comments that don't have any immediate relevance to the actual post, where she is quoted giving mature, level-headed opinions.
Sorry, you guys! Don't really know how to use Nu Gawker yet, but my family's okay and (for the most part) accounted for! Obviously not everyone is as lucky, though #crosstalk
