T.A.N. commented on LA Times: 'What If TMZ Got Michael Jackson's Death Wrong?'
"this may be a little old fogieish, but might this be the story that actually creates separation between the "old" and "new" media sets? tmz has a distinguished resume, of course (they're even on the tv box!), but for the world at-large that finds out about twitter via Time magazine cover stories, doesn't the subject and international resonance of the story, plus their being so clearly and definitively out in front of the pack, get anyone on the fence off and into the backyard of tmz (or the new media site of their choosing)? or maybe if you're still on the fence it wouldn't matter if they scooped the apocalypse, you're gonna shake god's hands with ink on your hands, dammit!"
