ufphoenix commented on Mike Myers: International Man of Not-So-Much Mystery This is probably a stupid question, but what is the point of blind items anyway? I could understand if they posted the answers to them a day later. But some of them are so vague and could fit multiple people that I don't see a point in posting them. The only way to figure them out is to go on rumors previously posted, but even then you always end up with the same few cast of characters, it seems.

ufphoenix commented on Manhattan Crane Collapse Devastation I can't believe the times didn't even mention the other recent tragedy that affected that same area. In March, there was a large fire that completely destroyed one building 319 E 90th and partially the building next to it. It was also due to cutting corners (doing renovations in an apartment without a permit)

ufphoenix commented on "I Killed Someone! But, Um, Not Really." OK, so the episode wasn't great, but how could it live up to last week's? Blair has to recharge her bitchy battery for the season finale!

Plus, the success of GG, IMO, is due to their formula of 1)introducing a cliffhanger at the very end of every episode, 2) expounding on that for the first 40 minutes of the next, 3) resolving that conflict in the next 10, and finally back to 1), introducing a new cliffhanger.. its great for those of us who like closure, but also a reason to watch next time
