I hate to do this because I feel like such a creep, but I noticed you said this in the 'girly gawker' thread:

For the most part I enjoy Jezebel, but it can be way too easy for a thread to get hijacked over there -- two weeks ago a Mariah Carey post turned into three pages of debating semantics used to describe mentally ill people. I'm still bitter.

I was the one who brought that up, because that kind of speech is hateful and ignorant and I'm not going to be silent about it. I don't sit by and watch discrimination without commenting about it and I don't think anyone should. You can be mad at me if you like of course, but the whole point of the post, which was a video of Mariah at her lowest point and then calling her derogatory names, I found very hurtful and unnecessary.
