A rep for Jackie and David Siegel, the couple best known as the stars of the nightmarish 2012 documentary Queen of Versailles, confirmed today that daughter Victoria struggled with a pill addiction prior to her death this past weekend. The 18-year-old was found unresponsive at the Siegel home on Saturday.

The rep told E! News that Victoria “had a history of seizures and was prescribed medication for this condition. Unfortunately she became dependent and struggled with this condition. She voluntarily underwent rehabilitation and was working hard to address this problem.”

While the exact cause of death is not yet known, the Siegels’ lawyer told Page Six, “At this time we are assuming that there was an overdose. Victoria was in rehab and was prescribed medication but we do not know what was in her system at the time of her death or what the actual cause of death was.”

Victoria reportedly finished rehab two weeks ago and came home to her parents’ “Seagull Island” mansion in Windermere, Florida. The family rep says she was “a beautiful spirit with a wonderful smile who was greatly loved, and will be deeply missed.”
