Continuing its streak of cutting all the wrong things, Saturday Night Live released this very solid VH1 parody sketch from last weekend's James Franco episode as a "digital exclusive"—not sure if that's better or worse than "cut for time."

Failing to air this one wasn't a chickenshit move like leaving out the uncomfortable Ferguson sketch, it was just a bad comedy call. Maybe they felt it wasn't timely enough, or that VH1 isn't relevant anymore, or maybe they just thought their ranking of 100 Greatest Guys would be too divisive during a time when America desperate needs some unity.

Probably not that last one.

Whatever. This is one of the funniest things to come out of the last two seasons. It should've been on TV.
