    This Finnish person is not my friend. S/he is beginning to annoy me. There used to be a much more exclusive invitation only and audition policy here. If you only get CSI and can't comment on Real Housewives of Atlanta you are of no use to me.

    It's not that the characters are wealthy. It's fifty percent because it's on AMC, and fifty percent because the pace is glacial. Now, I love the show, and I find it fascinating. But it's like The Wire or Arrested Development or Friday Night Lights or most other under-watched shows -- it's interested more in characterization and season-long themes than plots. People don't talk about Joan getting raped -- they talk about what it MEANS.

    @eatsshootsleaves: And it involves a huge time investment, since you have to pay attention to every fucking second in order to follow the show. Something us unmarried, no-kids poors can handle, but those with real responsibilities might not have the time for.

    @Baroness: I thought it was kind of a plot hole that Duck wouldn't have confirmed that information before going ahead with his evil plan. He almost could have said, "Curses! Foiled again." at the end of that scene it was so stereotypical.
