I personally applaud the girl. Her husband cheats on her, so she goes and gets someone better, comes out well in the divorce, and celebrates the hell out of her next wedding. I completely get the sentiment there.

What, all money is now supposed to go to charities? We shouldn't buy stuff to stimulate the economy? This wasn't some conference attended by the execs of a failing company; it was her WEDDING. Lighten up.

Umm yeah like donating the money to several charities. The best way to receive is to give. Hell she could have even donated to some cause he thought was stupid. For example, my ex-bf was allergic to dogs and I'm a huge dog lover, after we broke up my first instinct was to buy a dog but since I'm a student and live alone in a small apartment I knew it wouldn't get the attention it deserved so I signed up to volunteer at one of my local animal shelters and also joined a non-profit group that helps raise money for stray animals by submitting designs for their promotion fliers. I am able to help for a cause I care deeply about, spend time with the cutest dogs, and do something that my ex wouldn't let me b/c he thought coming over to his place covered in pet dander was a sign that I cared more about a four legged animal than him. And as it turns out I do care more about four legged animals than him after all: )

I for one have to look on the bright side. In these hard economic times, it is admirable to see Dr. Malek recycling a perfectly good, low mileage used wife. The upside for her, is that this new husband model she just drove off the lot, has a varicose vein maintenance contract that comes with the purchase. I'm not seeing a downside here. Anyone?

His first wife is beautiful, and frankly, looks like she'd be a lot more interesting to hang out with.

And for chrissakes, I hate the rich as much as anyone, but it IS her money, and she is paying a lot of folks' salary with her extravagance.

@BookishLookish: I'm the biggest defender of poor people but I don't think this post was bad. Quit hating on Owen/Nick. It always takes the rich a bit longer to catch on to certain things and it's funny when they don't. Like the old lady blogger who is crying about her four homes. It entertains me.
