@BookishLookish: Honestly I don't understand why he still needs to conceal himself anymore. Isn't he pretty much out there..ie if someone was going to apprehend him, they could just do it at this point couldn't they? Does he really need to cover his face still?? It makes me wonder if there's something scary hidden under there.
@BookishLookish: You have a bottle of wine, sex, and when you wake up *BAM* your eyes have been replaced with Nicholas Cage's, and you have Will Smith's ears stitched to your head.
@overunderover: Dickchicken, Neckface, Earsnot, and I think I saw some straight-up Chickenjuice, too. NYC graffiti artists could be made into some truly foul matzoh ball soup. And maybe Ana Peru Ana would eat it?
Nice to work with. Often funny. But I could see him coming off as douche-y (as per a few AgencySpy commenters) and I could definitely see him doing a "I found you jobs ok psych - you're fired" fake-out due to carelessness (with a touch of ass).
So . . . I guess I'll miss the idea of LVHRD and, uh, funtime jobs in sprawling SoHo spaces are a thing of the past. Again (see: 2001).
Heather FD, please tell Doug J. that I will go to great lengths for pics of Poster Boy unmasked. I have no ties to law enforcement; they are wanted for educational purposes only. Um, yeah.
Hey now, some street artists do amazing gallery shows... Poster Boy just doesn't happen to be one of them.
Moreover, can I just say how much it bugs me that his name is "Poster Boy"? I mean, really? What if Futura had called himself "Spraypaint Dude." He'd be exactly as famous as PB deserves to be, that is to say not very.
I loathe the faux-legitimacy of so-called 'street art.' Graffiti artists think they're so rebellious but they're all just after the same shit as all the others.
One thing to note is that the main drummer used above is Bernard Purdie, one of the all-time greats in drummer and as such a complete ringer. But I don't care! It works!
