    Though its been said by everyone else, and more eloquently than I will here, I'm still saying: The only thing Obama CAN do is dissappoint. The expectations on him are impossible. I'm a huge Obama fan, but, well, even Jesus didn't actually get much done. I have really high hopes for the President-Elect, but I anticipate being dissappointed.

    What made me nervous is all the video showing Obama playing golf in Hawaii during his most recent trip.


    I didn't even know he played golf. That reminded me too much of Clinton and Dubya. Fit into the whole uncomfortable feeling that Old Hopey's message of change is getting diluted.

    @Beautiful Stranger: When I read "Old Hopey", the first image that came to mind was Bob Hope. And I'm pretty sure he was big on golf. So I got all confused as to what Bob Hope had to do with this.

    In all fairness James Buchanan and Bush are annoyingly similar. They are the bottom of the barrel leaders. Let's hope there is some comparison betwixt Lincoln and Obama.

    Okay, off topic, but that survey you just posted about TV general TV habits (including Big Love and other shows, and Big Love, and do you like Big Love? Is Big love Compelling?) - god awful! Lots of dead end logic in some places and too much information in another - I'd be surprised if the data they seek will be anywhere near accurate. (Sorry, but I used to be in that business and that was sloppy surveying)
