    I think people should be careful before throwing out accusations involving photos of underage children. For all we know he was running fake eBay auctions or something (OK, probably not, but still...). I just would not want to tag someone with accusations that serious and vile unless it were absolutely true; even accusations like that can stick with a person for a long time.

    @Dead Wrestlers Society: When I was a kid, I had many friends whose computers were confiscated for what we called "phreaking", which was basically hacking telephone systems.


    Even today, guys like Kevin Mitnick don't have their computers confiscated for porn, but for hacking.


    I mean yeah, maybe the guy's got child porn, who knows. It's probably about as likely that he's a Russian spy. Seriously. How many people really keep child porn on their work computers? I really don't think it's that many. Even if you're a sicko that's got it on your home computer, you'd have to be both a sicko *and* a complete idiot to have it on your work computer. Granted, it happens, but not more frequently than other dumb computer crimes he could be accused of.

    @Dead Wrestlers Society: A coworker of mine had his work computer confiscated because he was being accused of sexual harassment. Once they got into his computer, they found he'd been running a side business from the office, and he got canned. Porn, kiddie or not, is a possibility, but not the only one.
