NBC is "infiltrating mundane activities," "moments that are just begging for a bit of laughter"? Sounds like they're describing their prime-time schedule to me.

@naugahydeinplainsight: Their plan must be working because while taking a dump this morning I thought of Jay Leno.

Opie and Anthony's Jim Norton is going to be one of his correspondents, per Page Six - that's a big deal for someone from his genre of comedy.

@MoeGolden: in all seriousness, this could be the edgiest decision Leno has ever made. Norton isn't dirty all the time, but much of his act goes into things never done on network tv in primetime.

@MoeGolden: that doesn't make much sense since his move to 10p implies they're trying to appeal to more of the oldes than younger fans of Norton ..

I assume Leno still gets paid, even if nobody watches and the show is quickly replaced. So, in other words, Jay Leno could be the only person on the planet who benefited from the Ben Silverman regime.
