My point is, as an Irish-American, I don't care about the Fighting Irish stereotypes because I know that there is some truth and that what isn't (or is no longer) true isn't worth protesting. And especially since The Departed came out, a lot of Irish-Americans even embrace those stereotypes, thinking it makes them look badass. For every Italian-American offended by the Godfather or the Sopranos or Real Housewives of New Jersey, there are even more who love that shit, like it gives them some power. Just live with it. That's what the Irish have done and that's what a lot of Jewish comedians have built their acts on. By embracing or even just tolerating the stereotypes, you reduce their power.

Also, his "singing" is atrocious. His notes were either flat or sharp (quite the accomplishment) and his tone was eerily reminiscent of a buzzsaw at a logging camp.
We have already seen the "sexy antics" as pioneered by Madonna, aped by Britney, and lampooned by countless comedians. At this point, the pointless dramatics are simply a cover for a lack of talent.

I'm over 18. I no the kid's name because of google search but had knew no details about him, except he was once on AI.
The last time I checked, AI had a HUGE under 18 fan base.
But it's nice that everyone is trying to pretend he was a part of their demographic before Sunday night. I support your fake outrage.

This whole thing is just so absurd. Girl on girl action is practically a staple of prime time tv these days and its not even a blip on the radar with no panicked cries to save the children. I'd been more concerned with teaching today's kiddies such blatant hypocrisy Lambert came on after 11pm, so he didn't violate the family hour. Is gay sex so threatening to folks? What do you think those boys have been up to all these centuries?

I am curious about your claim that "consenting adults have often taken the opportunity to express themselves in a simulated sexual manner" on the AMAs before. Any examples?
(Also, while you claim that girl on girl action is a staple of prime time tv these days, I must have missed all of the recent instances of simulated cunnilingus on network television. Can you give me a list of shows that have done this, so that I can add them to my TIVO list? Thanks).
