    Wait copywriting is a bullshit hack job done by joke-y and moneyed youngsters tending to the whims of dullards? I thought it was like "The Right Stuff" or some shit.

    what if one of these young waggish copywriters is engulfed in flames out on the sidewalk, and maybe I'm walking down the other side of the street with a Venti coffee loaded in my bladder? Should I cross and extinguish? I just can't know for sure until I'm there I guess. #marketing

    Oh, geez. They're almost dainty. I could see if they were like huge cow utters ready to slap you in the forehead. These are like junior-nips. Not really classy, classy, but in terms of obscenity from American Apparel, I was expecting much more...like nipples, socks, a puddle of milk and nothing else in the shot. #americanapparel

    Thousands of years ago Victoria's Secret showed nipples quite freely. They also showed pubic hair back when women had it.

    Women do have nipples after all and this is honest advertising. If you have nipples and you wear this garment, then your nipples will show.

    @Tart of Darkness: I actually agree with what you said but I really don't think American Apparel was trying to make a feminist statement. In fact, I don't think anyone at American Apparel know how to SPELL feminist. If the model's nipples were exposed it's probably because the sad folks at American Apparel got off on the 'naughtiness' of it all. #americanapparel

    I can't believe I'm defending AA, but a little naughtiness never hurt anybody. And neither did being turned on by it. If we weren't turned on by naughtiness, nobody would bother having sex and the species would have died out a long time ago. #americanapparel

    @topsy: Well, I agree they are not intending to make a feminist statement but I really don't have a problem with the lack of air-brushing. Back in the late 70s/early 80s sometimes lingerie models in newspaper ads had visible nipples. Why have we decided that feminist = prudish while at the same time feminist = promiscuity, too?

    I find today's sexuality confusing. We are supposed to faint and scream at the sight of a nipple in a catalog, but have sex freely as we choose with as many people as we like.

    And for men it's even more confusing. They are all supposed to be addicted to porn, masturbate furiously on an hourly basis while hoping to get laid and this all at the same time that they pretend not to notice any sexual features on the woman they are standing next to on a bus.

    And I'd like to say I can't believe I'm defending AA either even as I'm starting to wonder why I'm supposed to defame them. #americanapparel

    Scammers follow money, and sadly this deserved homerun here will attract even more gold diggers with little or no knowledge about actual IT, but lots of "street smart" capabilities.

    I heard the ads with Julia Allison in them were Web-only, and she wasn't in any of the ones broadcast on television.

    Is that wrong? Hamilton, do you know for a fact that this one was broadcast on TV, not just posted on the web?

    I've never seen this commercial before. Does it even play in the U.S.? Besides from that, it is a very odd commercial. Why was she even up there? And why didn't the "Can you here me now" guy get to say anything? Odd indeed. #advertising
