    Extremely carefully regulated euthanasia should be made available for individuals who genuinely believe they cannot go on, in my opinion. I have had a fantasy of waking up in the hospital with Locked In Syndrome, however.

    At the very moment they say "Blink once if you want to live, twice if you want us to pull the plug," something gets caught in my eye.

    I went to school with someone who had a terribly disabling illness sort of similar to CP. He told a mutual friend that he had a recurring dream of waking up normal.

    The tremendous courage aside, it's not all smiles, especially for adults.
