Apparently, the international press did not take this criticism seriously, and al-Zawahiri was roundly mocked for tryna start shit.

And Pareene is truly the gift that keeps on giving, so far this holiday season.

Obviously Halperin and AQ get their talking points from the same source!

But who is that source? I'll ante with the Carlyle Group -- anyone care to raise?

Like Mark Halperin, al Qaeda is upset that it, al Qaeda can't swing election toward the Republicans the way it did in 2004. Also, like the Republicans, they believe that their religious views should dictate civil law.

I really don't get what the difference between these two movements is supposed, in fact, to be.

Leave al Quaida alone. They're attacking something tonight or tomorrow, you know. We don't wand to disturb their fatwa focus.

What does it say when al-Qaeda supporters are more angered by Obama being called a "house negro" by their second in command than the McCain campaign (and McCain himself) was when their supporters shouted for Obama's death?

...and then the Al Qaeda supporters also complained that recently their image just wasn't "bad ass" enough and they wanted to be taken more seriously. They have taken to ending their names with an ominous descriptor such as "al-Zawahiri the Bloodthirsty" and "Malik the Darkhearted". After they all muppet nodded in agreement, they then combed their beards out to by the appropriate fluffiness that would denote the proper jihad seriousness.

I don't know. The fact that all coverage of Sarah Palin didn't begin with the word "retarded" kind of speaks of conservative bias to me.
