Geez. Can we go back to the time when Alaska was just this never talked about place where the only things worth pondering were sunshiney nights, the Travel Channel dude eating whale blubber, and maybe if your kid would have to read Call of the Wild in fourth grade?

That's really all I knew about Alaska 10 months ago, and I'd like to have that peace again. (I'm actually not sure Palin and Johnston know more than me, but damn if they aren't trying to outwit the world with their nitwittery.)
