The girl is cute at best, she does not have what it takes to be a true supermodel (hate that word!)--having a chameleon-like quality is essential (think Linda Evangelista), so versatile you might not even recognize her from one photo to the next. Top models can pull off any look thrown at them, from tomboy to mankiller/ vamp, and all sorts of outrageous looks in between.
Agyness is locked into that short new wave do, probably forever bleach blond, yadda, yadda, yadda!
It's a classic look that keeps coming back (like platforms), but y'all young'uns just don't know how many times this look has come down the pike--going way back to Edie Sedgwick (even Linda made 'news'20 years after with her version, and there were several in between--remember Jenny Howorth anyone?)! Yawn! I'm with the commenter who say's show me something I ain't seen before! Fashion is amazingly creative and imaginative, and at the same time it is unimaginative and sheep-like! Maddening!
I'm sure she's a sweet kid--she does not seem terribly sophisticated though!

Agyness Deyn is a distinctive-looking, competent model who's somehow become the pop culture runway model to watch.

I think she's very talented and was blessed with amazing genes, but I honestly think that her being the IT model instead of Sessilee Lopez or Chanel Iman is a little... well, racist. She's gorgeous, but she's no more an EMBLEM OF THE TIMES than either of them.
