WeepyVP JoeEither this new crop of staff writers is utterly fucked, or the editorial direction has taken a nosedive, or both.
Is there some negative correlation between the quality of stories and the quality of AJAX/CSS? #joebiden

WeepyVP JoeThat being said, why are we posting crap from Fox News anyway - I thought we weren't supposed to take this stuff seriously?

I'm a fervent Obama supporter, but I voted for Bill Clinton twice back in the 90s and and I like him. I had lot of respect for his presidency. And I like Hillary fine before this latest election cycle - and now that it's over, although I like her less, and still respect her, and don't dislike her.
But this shit-storm is just downright depressing.
I'm sorry, but it needs to be said: Some of the Hillary Clinton supporters on this thread are just way way too bitter. The way that bitterness has dripped through this thread like a corrosive acid is almost a little frightening. Your own party's candidate just won in a landslide, and the hostile ranting against Obama supporters on this day is just ... well, stunning, and ... ugly and ... sad.
I understand you're disappointed that your candidate lost. But that happened five or six months ago, at least. The bitterness is just over the top. It's time to let it go and stop freaking out about harmless shit like this post and just fucking relax and HEAL a little, OK?
And for Christ sake, Gawker writers should be allowed to say snarky stuff about politicians without getting roasted alive. This is GAWKER people. Not Politico. Not Huffington Post. Let Gawker be GAWKER. Please.

This persistent weird hatred between the Hills and Obama people is very confusing to me. Same party. Guy just won in the biggest landslide since, who, Jimmy Carter? Or Lyndon Johnson?
Can't we all just eat lemon squares and ride unicorns?

(Also, this is exactly what I was just thinking. I can't imagine NDP voters talking to each other this way, you know?)

A: Obama might not have won so handily if the economy hadn't imploded at the last minute, and B: he is actually to the right of Hillary on both health care and energy, and an unknown quantity on most other issues. What crime the Clinton's committed against all the little kids that are so smug about Obama I'll never know, but the hating sounds a lot like what you get from delusional Republicans who can, like some sort of absurd Kevin Bacon game, blame every current problem from the economy to terrorism on Bill Clinton.
