    I wonder if his Berlin-born wife can actually speak 'perfectly good English', since she's probably not allowed to speak that often.

    Also, I'm surprised to find out that Joe Scarborough is a liberal too. I've never seen him at the secret meetings.

    Look at this tweet.

    It links to a photo of Piper in a Picasa album belonging to someone named Andy. The account's URL, however, is "AlaskaGovMedia." Who is Andy? What is his relationship to the Palins? Why does the government of Alaska need or keep a Picasa account? Is this an indication that Sarah has migrated her shadow account from Yahoo to Google?

    @Claire Buoyant: I thought it was a shame that the little girl was described as "hardcore." She is just a little kid for heaven's sake. Hardcore as a term is usually reserved for abusers of drugs and the devil's music (that Negro music, rock n roll). I am just shocked.

    One other oddity (that I didn't notice before, but is's all of a piece anyway): If the album belongs to Andy, why does the caption on Piper's photo say "my...girl"?

    @DeadFred: Either she has covered her legs in makeup or she is wearing pantyhose. And no, nobody jogs in pantyhose, but they do POSE as joggers wearing pantyhose. Apparently.

    That's also not how you really do that stretch, but I don't think Palin's going for authenticity here. Or anywhere.

    Isn't her legal defence fund called something misleading like the Alaska Future Fund?
