OH Goodness! I never check this site and whalla!

YOU get you a big settlement Nat, and shove it up that scheming scum bag Bells flabby butt!

My girlfriends used to work at Various for many years and they just loved working for Nat and that other guy--the quiet one, can't ever remember his name. Anyway..

They were so cool and professional, none of this filthy nonsense began until that Marc guy took over. He ruined a perfectly good business with his smut.

I heard they hired pets to write the blogs, and well...it all went down hill after that. They couldn't even spell their own names and were humping the water coolers all day. I caught this little blond thing in the employee lounge riding the arm of the couch.

I said, "Gurl, what chu doin?" She said, "I thought it was a sybian horse."

All as they wanted to write about were plants.

Breast implants, penis transplants, and Norplants.

You don't give up Nat, they will try to bully you, but this is just abusive behavior and you deserve to be compensated for this extreme wrong-doing. Not to mention to help save the poor souls who are stuck working there now, with no hope of job change because of the economy.

When you look at that video of him popping out of that car with Penthouse hookers celebrating his self taking over Various, when he is supposed to be the father of children, or a respectable business person, what kind of message does he send to his very own daughter? How this scum can look in the mirror is beyond me!

That man must use drugs. We can not have a society of pimps thinking they are above the law just because they have cash in their pocket.

I've been in the adult industry for over a decade and I've never worked at a place that would allow this sort of thing to go on. Here's the thing that most people don't realize about what goes on BEHIND the camera...the offices are staffed by normal people, with normal lives, who keep their clothes on and are just trying to do their job.

Now as it relates to Penthouse/AFF...those guys are scumbags who are probably the single biggest financier of piracy and content theft on the internet. They are considered leeches by most of the industry and most of us are hoping and praying for the demise of Marc Bell, Andrew Conru and their ilk.

I hope and pray that this woman's lawsuit is truthful and hope the douchebags at Penthouse/AFF gets what is coming to them.

Oh and most of the profiles on AFF are fake and/or porn spam. You gotta be a sucker to fall for their crap.

@BoothThyestes: I know a guy who used to work for AFF, as a copy editor or something. It wasn't in his job to write any articles himself. Anyway, one day he said he walked into the office and saw a pocket pussy sitting on his desk. His boss walked in and told him "Oh, we need you to take this home and write a review."

Apparently he quit pretty soon after that.

    I'm building a metaphor here.

Where I work, we have books lying around everywhere--not authors. And when the authors come in, they don't put their keyboards on anybody's head. So um, I think, uh, what happened is wrong?

    I give up.

Brilliant. "We don't care if the technology works; only that it's managed by eye candy."

Meantime, I had a friend who wrote porn for Flynt. And she told me the offices were more professional (albeit, visually cheezy), than any non-porn publisher for whom she'd worked.

I've worked with, not for, Penthouse for years. I can tell you that the New York office culture is pretty much that of a normal office, but with porn laying around. I've done events with Pets and couldn't call them anything but completely professional. I'm not saying that this couldn't have happened at the Florida office, but in the New York office, it would NOT.

Also, the NY staffers I work with would cut a bitch if anything like this happened.

@michaellamb: As an addendum to the previous posts, sexual acts that are not mutually consensual pretty much constitute humiliation and harassment anywhere in the world. Even in a "porn house".

This is not about some uptight ball-breaker who freaked out at being around some titty pics. Rather, it's about a company trying to cheat its employees out of their pay. And since this is on the corporate side of things, the social rules are going to be different than what's permissible on an actual porn set.
