Some of you may not know that this is a holiday seasons tradition at Yahoo to encourage donate, and this is not the first time (last year as well) employees were provided the opportunities to donate to their favorite charities.
Let's be fair. I talked to a number of folks at Yahoo, many (and myself included) considers this a nice gesture.
Lawsuit or what not, and charity are totally different subjects. Besides, that settlement was an OLD NEWS. I am appalled at this kind of continuous trashing just for the sake of trashing.
@VachelRadassical: People that are about to be jobless ARE a charity. I cannot believe the corporate ego that some companies maintain. To make Yahoo look good a bunch of borderline unemployed people need to give money away? Sorry, Vachel, but that's sick.
@ciscokidinsf: I noticed that also. Now I have to wade through all this Gawker stuff (which I'll admit is occasionally interesting). I thought valleywag.com was going to remain open and contain just the Valleywag stories, but it's been returning a blank page for longer and longer periods of time lately.
