This has to be the most poorly named website in existence. Mediaite? You'd think by now that someone would have typed the name in MS Word and recognized that auto-correct changes it to Mediate.
Hi Cajun, thanks for the interview. Did you fall asleep after I wrote you and said I was booting up my computer? I talked about all our great contributors. I hope you post my response 'cause they're awesome. Thanks!
@RachelSklar: I did get it and will add it to the post. I thought YOU went to sleep on ME! I went out for coffee to stay awake and missed your email. Sorry bout that.
@Phyllis Nefler: Oh if I were there I'd tickle you until you hung up. - Well then why aren't you here? - Oooh well I'll just hop in a cab and invite myself over...
I've been following the latest news on YouTube, and the stars are dropping left and right. Still waiting to see if Dakota Fanning is just dead on the inside, and not the outside.
This is getting old already. Is every D-list celebrity on Earth going to have to put in a public appearance just to quell the nasty rumors of their demise? If it were me, I'd just stay "dead" until everybody in the world believed it, then I'd appear on the Today Show to sing my one hit from days gone by. That ought to rub their noses in it, and if not, I can always sic the lawyers on 'em.
For a 70s style fad (reporting on the death of still-living D-listers), this one is pretty lame.
uhhhhhm, robert palmer actually died in 2003 of a heart attack at age 54. he is no longer addicted to love. cyndi, however, still just wants to have fun, so there's that.
Since there has been so much unanswered commentary on all of these blogs and postings. I figured I would come forward to answer any questions anyone may have about the details of our weekend. We don't know if this "creature" is the raccoon we had honored that day, but from the first time we heard about the "Montauk monster" we all had a funny feeling that we were responsible.
It is the corpse of an scary monster. Or a bloated dead dog.
"Nanapaushat," my ass. If every fool on Shelter Island was setting the dead on fire annually, it would have rated at least two utterly humiliating photo essays in local publications by now.

Sklar PR in full effect
Abrams and crew comin' live and direct
They got no love for Gawker and FEK
And they'll wreck on a neck that tells them to check
The C.O.A.
They won't play
Serve your "full disclosure" on a silver tray
"Any day"
Question any of the rules they lay
And Sklar will slay
With seventy emails in a day
"FACTS" she'll say
But for their hard work, you shouldn't shed a tear
'Cause Danny's got the hookup, and the lines ain't clear
An Abrams disclosure's will come once a year
If anything, he's a Shady Engineer
AR's mission: obfuscate the clear
And if you need better bylines, I GOT MINE RIGHT HERE
And I'll
take your money
Make your money
Turn the hate into honey
Aspire for that Cedotal funny
Leave you feelin' good in your tummy
'Cause if anything's true, it's that Abrams' cash
Can take a bunch of bloggers and dress them up as class.
But I look forward to reading the Mediaite
About the media mavens and their clusterfucky plight
Inside baseball for online creatures of the trite
And for the rest a'yall, Cajun'll leave on the light,
riiiiiiiight?
Mothafuckas.

I figure after the Time 100 text-roll by Astley of Moot, he's basically dead to most of 4chan already.
