This new "product" will do nothing but suck for the first year. A few fans will love it fiercely, but anyone else who spends time with the product will notice that it starts to stink after a while. Input will be rejected in colorful ways and the output will not be pretty, either. Support will be a nightmare. The system will drop one steaming load after another on the harried technical staff. Unpredictable uptimes will result in lots of sleepless nights. It will be many months before we hear anything intelligible out of this product.

On the plus side, the product has enormous potential for long-term growth. The sky is the limit for this kind of product, and the management team is clearly committed for the long haul. It may take a while, but I predict this one will be a winner. Congratulations, Ev and Sara!

If the baby is named Evan Jr. (and evjr on Twitter) and then begins tweeting about his first poop, I'll throw up.

The baby is to be named "Twitter's Business Model" in an attempt to convince VC that Twitter has a plan to generate revenue.

There's a CEO of Twatter joke in here somewhere, but I'm too classy to make it.
