    Well, these free meals are not really "free". They are improper double taxpayer subsidies: unless Google is adding the value of them to their employess' W-2 forms, you and I pay for them. That is, Google duducts the cost from their taxes, and their employees pay no tax on the benefit.     @ValborgMelbo:Improper? Well, that's your opinion. They're certainly not illegal. As far as I can tell, Google is following all relevant tax rules.
