    Biden was the most inscrutable choice, ever, for VP. Instead of "change" Obama brought out an old hack, who had trouble with both truth telling, even during the campaign, and with inserting his foot into his mouth. Oh, to know what kind of negotiation that was, to get him on the ticket---except, perhaps to allay terrified old white guys who feared a woman and a (half)black man on the ticket would bring on the apocalypse. #joebiden

    Joe Biden is everything thats wrong and fucked up with congress. This dope won his seat in the Senate when he was 29 and has never had another job until being VP. He has learned about as much about how the country works from his perch in DC as Palin learned about Russia from staring at it. He is walking proof we need term limits.

    And he doesn't drink. I don't trust people who don't drink, unless they've already been alcoholics. #joebiden

    Either this new crop of staff writers is utterly fucked, or the editorial direction has taken a nosedive, or both.

I should have added before that it could well be my OS and browser causing headaches most readers don't experience. And in all fairness, I haven't been reading long enough to judge contemporary content against the past. #joebiden

    @naugahydeinplainsight: Speaking of spies, BBC's great MI-5 started a new run on WLIW (Ch. 21, Long Island-based public TV) last night, with repeats this weekend. After being butchered on the old A&E and then lost on BBCAmerica, it's worth checking out what look to be widesreen, complete episodes. I've heard it called a thinking-person's 24, as British agents led by Matthew MacFadyen fight terrorists of all stripes while trying to keep their souls.

    @naugahydeinplainsight:@OwenKlient: I lost interest in MI-5/Spooks after they brought in Adam. He's so 'American' in style as opposed to the stoic, almost dour Tom. I can drop in from time to time, but I stopped caring about the arcs.


    But the first 2 and a half seasons are pretty good.

    @DanielMurphysLaw: I agree it lost a lot when the cast changed (ah Tom, Zoe, Danny!), but I was hoping those eps were better than they seemed in their A&E presentation. Looking forward to checking them out when they come around on PBS.

And when he pitches a bitch at the network for not marketing his incestuous love child (because you know he will) he'd have wasted all this time on this crud which has been done to death, BTW , (Girl special agent who can fight...see Point of No Return, Alias, Dark Angel, even freaking Le Femme Nikita )when he could have been penning a Serenity sequel. Yah, yah, I know. No studio wants to make a sequel..whatever, dude. Maybe if they had a script, things would change, eh?
