    StlyeList.com sounds like a comedown after a high profile gig like Star Magazine. But I wish the guy well. I find his gossip style to be more amusing than his DN co-horts.

    (Even though he was far, far more qualified that Julia Allison to hold his job, it may be that Star itself just doesn't have enough clout to be a serious operator in the gossip world.

    It should be noted that Jo did a LOT more than the column; she basically contributed at least an article a day to their lifestyle section.

    Sour grapes here, but despite the sympathy I feel for those in print who are suffering greatly, the Daily News should die. I support many of the employees at the DN but it's a vile institution and I wish painful deaths upon many of the masthead names and other editors.


    Wow, I sound angry. Go fig.


    I am fortunately no longer in print, but not necessarily immune to the economy, so I'm probably crossing the employment gods with that statement, but fuck it. It's said.
