    They're not sure the motherfucking compliance officer for the Ponzi scheme wasn't in on it? What a load of horseshit. If we lived in anything like a just society, they'd freeze his assets and tell him to go file a claim with unemployment while he waits for his turn with the DA.


    This is amazing bullshit. Morganthau should lose his job for this. I'm sure Sam Waterson will when it makes it onto Law and Order.

    So let me see if I understand this: A $64 billion Ponzi scheme was certified by an accountant who worked out of a "shopping center" in New City, N.Y. who bears a striking resemblance to a degenerate I once knew who handed out bad trifecta tips rail side at Yonkers Raceway?


    Maybe this guy was the clue hiding in plain sight that Madoff's firm was a fraud.
