    I'm fb friends w/ Bill Ayers. Our one and only mutual friend is a writer that is the daughter of a very famous writer. You can ask yourself, "Which writer and daughter of a very famous writer is friends with Bill Ayers on facebook?" but don't ask me because I'm not naming names. Anyway, this means that I know he knows writers but whether or not he is one himself is an entirely different story. That being said, we have no proof Obama did write it all himself or didn't. We just have to take his word for it.

    @adiam7: All I'm saying is Bill Ayers knows/hangs out with writers but that doesn't make him one. I don't think he wrote the book but a lot of people wouldn't believe it unless they saw proof.

Basically a rich guy that was involved in several bombing deaths that were part of an attempt to create terror, bought himself out of it, and has made a career out of convincing himself that he is morally superior to the unwashed masses.     True story: I once found myself in the middle of nowhere just slightly west of the Texas state line without anything to read for the evening. The only place selling books in the godforsaken town was Walmart, and I had my choice between the Twilight series and that other well-known piece of ghostwritten fiction, "Dreams from My Father."

    I'm not even kidding, it was shelved as a novel and identified as one on its price sticker, too.

    The insanity, it runs deep.

    Well he was part of the group, he didn't do the bombings. Is he still responsible, to some degree yes.. Has he paid his dues, yes.


    I understand what he is saying. First off the late 60's and 70's were a different time. 1000 Americans were being slaughtered in NAM by insurgents who were rightfully protectuing themselves from the imperialists. I am sure if N. Korea or Japan invaded us, we would do the same.. empathy helps in understanding these complex issues.


    To use him to dirty Obama is ridiculous and simply stupid. Now if Obama was part of the Weathermen, I am sure the FBI & CIA would have known about it..
