Oh, urg. I actually sat through One Missed Call and wondered aloud, loudly, why Edward Burns (a gruff voiced cutie, who did jaunty family films about Irish people and love and fishing and wisecracking, heavily accented, Nuu Yawkness, but is now doing horror tripe and movies with that Heigel person and a rapidly aging Cameron Diaz, who I hope is good in the Jodi Picoult film! Because let's face it at 47, she's a little too old to do movies with people Ashton Kutcher's age in short skirts and bad lighting and have us not question that dynamic...so on to motherhood!) and Sossamon (who seemed like she had potential before all the weird baby names and strange Lisa Bonet likeness made her all silly and unable to get a real acting gig) yeah, I'd say Call was a waste of talent, but it really wasn't, as they weren't talented, and the movie was so ludicrous it should only be viewed high or never.

@Rumpelstilskin: You know Ted Nugent has a PhD in duckblind theory. His thesis was 24 duck corpses.
