Can somebody please explain to me how this Onion News Network thing is still around and presumably making enough money to continue? Considering that they have to pay writers, production costs, actors, etc. and that their only real source of revenue is online advertising, doesn't it seem like this experiment should have failed miserably already?

Also, you know, it's very rarely funny.
