Any movie starring Hayden Christensen and Paul Walker entitled "Bone Deep", I am all for watching. In a darkened theatre. In the back row by myself. With my hands in my pockets.
People keep declaring Sean Connery the best Bond, and Barbara Walters loves playing the clip from her interview with him where he admits to slapping a woman around when she needs it. Robert Downey Jr. and all his drug problems, still gets him nominated for an Oscar. The list goes on and on.
Why is the movie industry pretending to care about the criminal misconduct of actors now? And more to the point, what took them so long?
@kookla: You do have a point; T.I. is going to jail in a few weeks, and he's still in the movie. I honestly think that had Brown physically abused a woman who wasn't famous the reaction wouldn't have been the same.
@NoWireHangers: The sad part is, if that was the case, the girl would probably wind up selling her story for money and TMZ would start following her around like she's a celebrity. I wish the movie studios would stop pretending like bad publicity isn't good publicity.
Looks like the B.O. won't be able to get it up for Bone Deep, which is in deep shit. What a boner. Erm, bummer.
This whole Chris Brown thing really made me think about Hollywood image. Prior to his turn as the new Ike Turner, Chris Brown really came across as the smiley, happy teen sensation that got the moms in the Oprah audience to "raise" the "roof". If Our Dear Shaved Koala is covering your songs, you're about as threatening as a Care Bear. How wrong we were!
