    Don't ask me. I think it's weird that people stand when the president walks into the room. The only person I do that for is my plumber, because he charges $175 an hour and I want to be ready to hustle him out as soon as possible.

    Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill. A) it was hardly a 'bow'. And B) If you watch Brian Williams for two seconds--with the President or Jon Stewart or anyone else--you just get that that's his personality. Ironic jocular dude. The kind of guy who probably calls his daughter's boyfriend, "Young master [insert name here]!" Meghan needs to calm the eff down and find something--anything, please lady--important to talk about.

    @ChickyOnly: I think it's intended, if anything be in this golden beer-heiress cocoon. See, a friend of mine had her purse snatched in New Orleans. I know, who hasn't? But the eye can only catch like four items in a divergent number of seconds (People = 1; MaGoos = many). She noted the purse snatcher wore a pink hat and a bright red jacket. And that's all she remembered, those easily-discarded items.


    Maybe Ms MaGoo wants us all to concentrate on her Twitter spelling and not her great policy declarations themselves, you think?

    If you read Doonesbury, the recent comics of the Obama White House emphasize the same point: he's not make-fun-able! Admittedly, it's very early in his term, but he hasn't yet shown any clear character traits that would allow him to be made fun of well in a four panel or two minute increment.


    Disclaimer: I'm not an Obama fangirl, and he's disappointed me many times in his term, he just doesn't seem to have many hilarious personality quirks.

    @spitneybeers: I agree that's the issue. The writers room must be like, "His ears are big!" "He like french mustard on his burgers!" "He likes to act, uhm, like a gentleman and takes his wife out to romantic evenings in the City!"


    A skit on how he's gone back on some of his early (and late) campaign promises would be even less entertaining. For my money, Armisen does a fairly accurate, if thoroughly boring, impression.
