    I was a publicity intern at Lions Gate in 2000 and got some stalker mail for Ms. Dunst (she was doing "Cat's Meow")...it was written in green crayon. We threw it away. *shudder*

    I was once stalked by an entire family, too. It was at the local Stop n' Shop. The family that owned it was pissed because I was taking donuts out of the plastic bins and eating them without paying for them.

    @Miss-Pringle: Varies by state, of course, but basically you have the right to detain someone just long enough for the real cops to get there, is my understanding.


    Anything more extensive than that, and you're potentially liable for false imprisonment, if my intermittent concentration during Torts class was worth anything at all.
