    I'm curious: social conservatives often portray working mothers as heartless bitches who hate their children. When even the First Lady of the US is having to assert her child-adoring-mom credentials, why is Meg Whitman, conservative Republican mom of 2, not getting any interrogation about her careerist ways?

    California is history's largest-ever failed experiment with mob rule. Why anyone would think they could actually run that state is beyond me.
