    Wait, Pareene. This isn't fair. It was Coleman who initially won, and Franken who demanded a recount, and ultimately won. Which makes this sauce for the goose. It's unlikely that Hoffman will win, but he has as much right to demand a recount as Franken did. #electionday

    @MissNormaDesmond: Wasn't the Minnesota recount mandated by state law rather than Franken demand? True, Hoffman has every right to demand a recount but let's stick with the facts.

    @MissNormaDesmond: Doesn't conceding kind of waive that right though? Maybe we should have all recounts be automatic so premature conceding isn't an option, but that's another issue.

    @onebadclam: Ooops, sorry, you're right. However, let's say that the vote had been close, but not quite close enough to trigger the automatic recount. I wouldn't have faulted Franken for seeking one, and I don't think Hoffman should necessarily be faulted for doing so, except... #electionday

    @dissentingopinion: ...yeah, that's a valid point. Except didn't Gore unconcede? I guess I'm just very concerned that my team be completely fair, because I'm so sickened by the constant bullshit cheating and misrepresentation coming from Fox and Friends. #electionday

    @MissNormaDesmond: Franken didnt ask for a recount (it was granted by law) and Owens is already sworn in, meaning even if its found he DID win, legally he cant take office now that someone else was sworn in (look it up its happened before)

    This is purely a stunt, nothing more. #electionday

    @Jim Topoleski: Sometimes it's good to read the other comments before commenting -- the legalities of the MN recount have already been discussed. As for whatever law provides for someone's basically calling dibs on an office and keeping it whether or not he or she actually won the popular vote, say, that's kind of stupid, isn't it?

    I liked how her FB update uses BIG, smart-sounding words... "subsequent", "erroneously".

    You should see the responses she got to that, they were hilarious. One guy saying that he didn't even know that people at AP could read?!?? Another guy still referring to her as "Governor" . #sarahpalin

    @se7a7n7: You read them too? Reading the inane and often unintelligible comments from her "fans" is a passion of mine. Gosh, if I had a dime for every time one of them referred to her as "Governor Palin" after she quit, I'd be a very rich lady. I also love that the liberal socialists are all apparently frightened to death of a Palin 2012 run for President when in reality that is what we are all quietly hoping for (both for the entertainment value, and because it would guarantee an Obama victory). #sarahpalin

The fans shout "troll!" every time someone corrects them that she's not in fact "Governor" anymore, then they thank you for getting them one person closer to the million mark. What exactly do they think will happen when they get a million fans? She will ascend to the heavens and smite down our illegitimate Kenyan President? It's rather ridiculous. #sarahpalin

    @TheUptightMidwesterner: McCain and his camp have surely never heard of Wikipedia because it's on that infamous series of tubes known as the Internetz.

    It's more likely he had her write a 200 word essay entitled "Why I Deserve to be Vice President". Of course, 100 of those words were no doubt "also", "you betcha" and "y'all", so we can see where the process failed.
