    That scene was filmed at the Two Boots pizza place on 7th avenue south in the west village. Amazing pizza but a friend of mine swears he walked past it once in mid afternoon and saw a rat lazily chewing on a pizza crust in the window. (it is just around the corner from that KFC where there were like thirty rats filmed having a party a few years ago)

    @Commander in Grief: Once, I watched a mouse drag a chicken wing across the floor of the upstairs dining room at the Old Town Tavern. It took the little guy a 15 minutes, during which time he was totally ignored by the full tables and the passing waiters.

    Magnolia Bakery in the village is terrible and got the worst review in a cupcake survey in the NYT last year.


    a much better option is the one in west chelsea on 9th opened by one of their alumns
