According to the NY Times story, Biden learned about the crash after taping the show and called the officers to see how they were doing. Technically, it also wasn't three crashes involving his motorcade. In one of the incidents, his limo and suburban were being transported to a storage house at 2 in the morning by secret service agents when the drivers hit a pedestrian. Biden wasn't in the limo or anywhere around. Wasn't exactly a motorcade.

@slite: FWIW, it's extremely unlikely that Biden even knew there was an accident. This was one of the advance car that goes a mile ahead of the motorcade to block intersections. And the Secret Service tends to leave its charges alone unless direct action is necessary.

Biden's wife and daughter were killed, and his son almost died, but somehow because you can't think of anything to write about you decide to turn it into a stupid post about a 'car curse' and 'Nostradamus'?

Why don't you use some family tragedy of your own? If you lack such tragedy, why don't you do some writer-prayers that a few things pop up soon, maybe even a multi-vehicle pile-up, so you'll have another story for Gawker. #joebiden
