    Hamilton there is something slightly manic in the way you insist cats cannot be trained. I can only assume you've tried. My condolences, brother, many have fallen upon that battlefield. Personally I refuse to give up. Consequently I can only conclude that this quest will some day take my life.

    That's what they haven't put an ad on yet, in the subways! Not the cats, obviously, because all the cats in the subway are dead and stowed away in those smelly zip-up storage bags that that mumbling guy is always hunching protectively over at the end of the car. No, not the cats - the rats! Hamilton is right that catvertising is awesome but since we are the US there is no way we are going to be as classy as Britain. Ratvertising is totes going to save the MTA from this recession. This can be done extremely cheaply by just picking up the Dunkin Donuts napkins and Snickers wrappers that are already on the tracks and taping them to the rats. I'm pretty sure the crazy person who has been sitting across from me in this Starbucks for the past two hours would even dress the rats for free.

    @Jabes: I have two black kittehs and since I got them my life has drastically improved. I even got a lovely boyfriend who loves cats, and I talked about cats at my university interview (the woman interviewing me had a Maine Coon).


    That's just my experience, but actually I think black cats are GOOD luck in England.

    So, they are free to wander and get hit by cars? Or do they have leashes and GPS? At least when I roamed the streets of London aimlessly I had enough money for Pret. I suppose it will make more sense when the campaign gets enough publicity and is 'canceled' due to PETA protests.
