Media mogul Barry Diller was driving his Maserati through a snowy Central Park this morning when it got stuck. Luckily Katie Couric happened by to help push it out—in the wrong direction. Rich people really don't "get" snow.

Why pay for an overpriced, tiny hotel room in Manhattan when you can sleep for free high up in one of Central Park's 24,000 trees? That's what Cory and Dana Foht have been doing for the past two months.

Central Park has seen a 45% increase in crime this year—including seven rapes, up from zero in 2009. The culprit? The bad economy, which apparently brings more people to the park, and then induces them to commit crimes.

Jesse Wasserman was arrested early Thursday morning after allegedly robbing three people in Central Park using a fake gun. Wasserman, it turns out, is a former prep school kid from tony New Rochelle. It's a suburban horror story!

If you live in New York, you know Central Park is - despite smog-spewing cars blazing through it, kids who shit everywhere, dogs who shit everywhere, tourists who're everywhere, and facepalm-worthy Beatles tributes at Strawberry Fields - pretty magical. But!

It has been snowing since yesterday morning. It is not the Snowpocalypse or Snowmageddon or Snowicane. It is just snow. It happens every year. And it is awesome, glorious, and beautiful. But when it's done being those things, it sucks.
